Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly Resolution Passed in to Honor Army Martyrs and Allocate Job Quota for Their Families
The Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly has unanimously approved a resolution to allocate a special employment quota in all government departments for the families of Pakistan Army martyrs and to introduce necessary amendments to the Gilgit-Baltistan Service Rules.
During this historic session, the President of the Shuhada Foundation Gilgit-Baltistan, Bahadur Jamil, along with a large number of martyrs’ family members, were present in the VIP gallery of the assembly. The House paid glowing tribute to the unparalleled sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces martyrs and expressed deep admiration and gratitude for their families.
The resolution was presented by Interior Minister Shamsul Haq Lone, read aloud in the House by Colonel (R) Ubaidullah Baig, and endorsed with the signature of Minister for Science and Technology, Suraiya Zaman. The motion received full support from all members of the Assembly, including Opposition Leader Syed Kazim Meesam, Minister for Food Engineer Anwar, Minister for Education Agha Shehzad Javed Manwa, former Minister Jamil Ahmed, Soheil Abbas, Sheikh Akbar Rajani, Kulsoom Farman, Ayub Waziri, Sanam Faryad, and Raja Zakariya.
