The e-Challan system in Karachi has been introduced to make traffic fine management more transparent, efficient, and citizen-friendly. Instead of manual paper slips, traffic violations are now automatically detected through CCTV and ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) cameras installed across major roads and intersections in the city. Once a violation is recorded, an electronic challan is generated in the system against the vehicle’s registration number.

How to Check E-Challan in Karachi

You can easily check if your vehicle has any pending challans online.
Here’s how:

1. Visit the official Sindh Police or City Traffic Police website
   • Go to website
   • Navigate to the Traffic Police or E-Challan section.
2. Enter your vehicle details
   • Type your vehicle registration number (e.g., KAR-1234).
   • You can also use your CNIC if linked with the vehicle.
3. View challan details
   • The portal will show your pending and paid challans, along with:
     • Violation type (signal jump, no helmet, overspeeding, etc.)
     • Date, time, and location of violation
     • Challan amount and payment status
4. Download or print challan slip if you want to keep a record.

How to Pay E-Challan in Karachi

There are multiple easy ways to pay your traffic challan:

1. Online via Mobile Apps

Use Sindh e-Pay App or your bank’s mobile app.

Go to the Traffic Police Challan section.

Enter your challan number or vehicle number.

Review the details and confirm payment using your preferred method (debit card, Easypaisa, JazzCash, or bank account).

2. Through ATM or Internet Banking

Select Bill Payment → Traffic Police Challan in your bank’s ATM or online portal.

Enter challan number and confirm payment.

3. At Designated Branches

You can also pay manually at National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) or other authorized branches.

Provide your vehicle number or challan slip to the cashier.
